Booking and payment
How do I book a tour?
Open the tour, choose a date in the calendar, pick the guide language and the number of travellers, and pay by card on our website. You receive the confirmation by email straight away.
How much does a tour cost?
Every tour page shows the price per person in euro. The price per person is lower for 2 travellers and lower again for groups of 3 or more. The calendar shows the exact total for your date and group before you pay.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the start of the tour, with a full refund. Within 24 hours of the start the tour is not refundable.
Is payment secure?
Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
On the day
Where is the pick-up?
Day tours include pick-up from your hotel in central Sofia and drop-off back at your hotel. The pick-up time is shown on each tour page. Choose your hotel when you book.
Which languages do your guides speak?
Our guides lead tours in English, Italian and Spanish, and some tours also in German or Russian. Each tour page lists the languages available, and you choose one when you book.
Do I need a passport?
Only for tours that cross the border into Serbia or North Macedonia. Bring your passport or an EU ID card. The tour page says so when it is needed.
Are entrance fees and meals included?
It depends on the tour. Each tour page lists exactly what is included and what is not, for example entrance tickets, lunch or drinks.
Other services
Can you organise a private tour or a multi-day trip?
Yes. We plan private day trips and multi-day tours of Bulgaria and the Balkans with hotels, transport and guides. Tell us your dates and group size on WhatsApp or by email.
Do you offer airport transfers and vehicle hire?
Yes. We arrange transfers from Sofia Airport and between cities in Bulgaria and neighbouring countries, and we hire out premium cars and minibuses. See transfers, vehicles, hotels and events.

Zelanos Tours is the brand of P Group Plovdiv Ltd, a licensed Bulgarian tour operator (licence no. РК-01-6501, UIC 200806730). Our office is at 93 Evlogi and Hristo Georgievi Blvd., Sofia.
