Two countries in one day: the National Historical Museum in Sofia, Zemen Monastery in Bulgaria and Osogovo Monastery in North Macedonia, with time for a traditional lunch. Hotel pick-up and guide included. Passport required.
The day starts at the National Historical Museum in Sofia. Then you drive west to Zemen Monastery, about an hour and a half from Sofia.
After Zemen, you cross into North Macedonia and continue about two hours to Osogovo Monastery. Here you visit the monastery and have time for a traditional lunch in a nearby restaurant. Then you return to Sofia, and the tour ends at your hotel.
Good to know: Bring your passport or EU ID card for the border crossing.
